How we connect to eBay

You connect eBay through eBay's official sign-in (OAuth). That is the same login eBay shows when any authorised app asks for access. We never see, store, or ask for your eBay password.

The connection lets Flippedit pull the sales, listings, fees, refunds, and promoted listing costs that belong to your store so we can calculate true per-item profit. You can disconnect eBay from inside Flippedit or from eBay's own account settings.

We do not browse your solds to source

We are not a sourcing tool. We do not scrape your sold history to find inventory for ourselves, for other sellers, or for a "what's selling" feed. Your completed sales exist in Flippedit so you can see what you kept after fees, shipping, and cost of goods.

If you saw a review that claimed otherwise: that is not how the product works. The eBay connection is for your profit numbers, not for our buying list.

Your data stays on your account

Listings, sales, costs, receipts, and goals live on your Flippedit account. Other sellers cannot see them. Staff only open an account when you ask for support, and then only to fix the issue you raised.

If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the billing period. You can export reports while you have access. After the account is closed we delete or de-identify store data we no longer need, except records we must keep for tax, dispute, or legal reasons.

What we collect

• Account details you type in: name, email, password hash, billing country, and plan.
• eBay store data you authorise: listings, sales, fees, refunds, and related IDs. Not your eBay password.
• Costs you add: cost of goods, postage you paid, bulk purchases, receipts, and notes.
• Payments: handled by our payment provider, Stripe. Card details are collected at signup for the free trial and held by Stripe, not by us. We keep the plan, invoices, and enough to recognise your subscription. We do not store full card numbers.
• Site analytics: PostHog (and DataFast) on this marketing site, the calculator, and the dashboard so we can see which pages help, not to sell a profile of you. Ads pixels (Google Ads, Meta) run only on flippedit.com.au.

We do not buy mailing lists. We do not collect sensitive information like health, race, or religion.

Who else sees it

We share data only when it is needed to run the product:

• eBay, through the official API you authorised.
• Payment and invoicing providers, to charge and refund plans.
• Email delivery, for receipts, password resets, and the messages you asked for.
• Hosting and error logs, so the app stays up.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not give other resellers a feed of your solds.

Your rights

Flippedit Pty Ltd is in Australia. The Australian Privacy Principles apply. You can ask to see the personal information we hold, correct it, or delete it where we do not have to keep it. You can also disconnect eBay at any time.
