Find out what to source more of.

You had a good month. Was it the $20 items or the $80 ones, and which should you source more of? Growth Lab answers that from your own sold items and listings: which price band earns the most, whether margins are holding, how fast stock moves, and what is sitting on the shelf.

What it is
Four analyses from your own sold items and listings: profit by price band, margin health, days to sell and listing mix.
You still do
Read it, then decide what to source more of and what to stop buying.
eBay already does
Shows traffic and conversion per listing, not profit by price band or margin trend.
What changes
Sourcing decisions come from your own numbers instead of a feeling about last month.

Four analyses, one set of numbers

Every table runs on the sales eBay synced and the cost of goods (COGS) you recorded. Pick the period and read the result.

  • Pricing sweet spots Profit, margin and days to sell by sold price band, with the band that earns the most total profit flagged.
  • Margin health Average margin, the share of sales above 25%, loss-making sales and any sales still missing COGS.
  • Sales velocity Median and average days to sell, the fast and slow bands, and speed by category.
  • Listing mix Active listings by price tier with listed value, average age and stale 90+ day stock.

How it works in Flippedit

Growth Lab runs four analyses on the sales eBay synced and the costs you recorded, for the period you choose, and puts the biggest fix at the top.

Pricing sweet spots

Sold items grouped by price band. Each band shows units sold, average profit, margin, average days to sell and share of total profit. The band with the most total profit is flagged.

Margin health

Average margin, the share of sales at 25 percent or better, loss-making sales with the largest losses listed, and sales still missing COGS counted separately.

Sales velocity

Median and average days to sell, sales within 7 days, sales over 60 days, and speed by category with average profit alongside.

Listing mix

A live snapshot of active listings by price tier: listings, units, listed value, average age, stale 90+ day stock and share of the total. Independent of the period.

What to fix first

A priority list at the top points at the change with the most profit behind it, such as completing COGS or clearing a slow tier.

Period presets

Financial year to date, last 31 days, this year or a custom range. Sales logged from other channels are included.

What is Growth Lab?

Four analyses of your eBay sales and inventory: pricing sweet spots, margin health, sales velocity and listing mix. Each runs on synced sales and the costs you have recorded, for any period you choose.

What does a sweet spot mean?

The sold price band that produced the most total profit in the period. The table also shows units sold, average profit, margin and average days to sell for every band.

How is sales velocity measured?

Days between the date an item was first listed and the date it sold, using median and average across the period. Sales within 7 days count as fast and over 60 days as slow.

Does it include sales from other marketplaces?

Yes. Sales you log from other channels are included in the period analyses alongside eBay.
